More than a diagnosis.
The complete picture matters.

Where are the lesion's boundaries? Are other organs involved?
Review examinations and the treatment already proposed.

01 / LIVER LESION

Alveolar echinococcosis
of the liver.

The lesion's boundaries and surrounding structures need assessment. Prepare existing CT or MRI, ultrasound and reports to review the complete picture.

Discuss
treatment options.

The clinic offers a non-surgical medication-based approach. Its options and limitations are individual. Assessment for complete lesion removal and antiparasitic therapy remain important in alveolar echinococcosis.

04 / IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

Before your first
conversation.

Answers to questions people bring to us.

YOUR DIAGNOSISMy report says “alveolar cyst”. Is that cystic echinococcosis?

Alveolar echinococcosis is a distinct form, with different lesions and treatment. Share the full report and images: the word “cyst” alone is not enough to choose the same course for both diagnoses.

TREATMENT OPTIONSCan alveolar echinococcosis be treated without surgery?

Medication is used, but complete removal of the lesion must be assessed separately. In suitable cases, surgery with antiparasitic therapy is important. Discussing the clinic's approach does not replace that assessment.

REMOTE CAREIs remote support possible after previous operations?

Your history can be discussed remotely, including after several operations. Prepare surgical records, CT/MRI over time and prescriptions. Follow-up, duration and costs are individual; in-person specialists may be needed.
